Privacy

This is a personal links page and a calendar. It has no accounts, no forms, no comments, and no shopping cart. There is nothing here designed to find out who you are.

What this site collects

Nothing. There is no analytics script, no tracking pixel, and no cookie set by degs.skin. Nothing you do here is recorded on my end.

Fonts and images are served from this site rather than from a third-party CDN, so loading a page here does not quietly announce your visit to anyone else.

Hosting

The site is static files hosted on Cloudflare. As with any web host, Cloudflare handles the request itself. Your IP address and browser user agent are part of how a page gets delivered to you at all, and Cloudflare uses that for routing and abuse prevention under its own policies. I do not receive that data, and no visitor logs are kept by me.

The music player on the calendar page

The calendar page embeds two Bandcamp players. That player is loaded from Bandcamp rather than from here, so opening that page fetches files from Bandcamp, which means Bandcamp can see your IP address and may set its own cookies, exactly as if you had opened a Bandcamp page yourself. This is governed by Bandcamp's policies, not mine.

This is the only page on the site that loads anything from outside it. Every other page fetches nothing but its own files.

The buttons on the main page go to other services: Discord, Bandcamp, Letterboxd, Steam, Venmo, GitHub, LinkedIn and an email address, and the calendar page links out here and there to things worth reading. Nothing is shared with any of them until you actually click through, at which point you are on their site under their rules.

The calendar file

The game nights .ics is a plain text file served from this site. Downloading it adds the events to whatever calendar app you choose. It does not tell me you downloaded it, and it does not check in with anything afterward.
